In the first quarter of 2021, Australia's business finance and solutions apps have shown varying trends in user engagement and financial performance. The data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the download numbers, revenue, and active users for each of these top applications.

Invoice2go: Easy Invoice Maker saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $60K in early March before dipping to approximately $38K by the end of the month. Downloads rose to a high of 2.4K in the second week of February and then gradually decreased to just over 1.2K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 11K to over 11.2K during the quarter.

Intuit Inc.'s QuickBooks Self-Employed app experienced an increase in revenue, reaching nearly $15.4K in the first week of March, followed by a decline to around $10.6K by the end of the quarter. The app's downloads spiked in mid-March with close to 1K downloads, while weekly active users showed a high of 9.7K in early January before a slight decline to 8.7K by the end of March.

Their other app, QuickBooks Accounting, demonstrated a similar revenue trend with a peak at approximately $14.7K in March. Downloads remained above 1.2K for most of the quarter, with weekly active users starting at around 7.8K and reaching up to 8.5K in the third week of March.

Xero Ltd's Xero Accounting app showed a revenue increase in February to nearly $11.2K but then fell to approximately $5.2K by the end of March. Downloads peaked in late February at over 4K but then decreased to around 2.6K. Active users reached a high of 12.4K in late February and then tapered off to about 11K.

Lastly, Invoice Maker, Estimate Billdu by BILLDU LTD displayed a revenue peak at $5.7K in the second week of February and ended the quarter at around $5K. The app's downloads hit a high of 260 in early February and then showed a slight decrease to 170 by the end of March. Active users saw a modest increase from 253 to 295 throughout the quarter.
